How Maui Tumblers keeps class safe
Appropriate challenge, trained spotting, and a non-competitive room. Skills are not rushed. That is the whole method.
Progression, not tricks
Maui Tumblers coaches are professional members of USA Gymnastics. Class follows federation-style progressions: warm-up, strength, skill review, then new skill work. A child does not get thrown into a back tuck because they asked. They earn the drill.
Who is on the floor
Coaches hold First Aid and CPR. The same staff — including founder Melissa Rajesh and head coach Anuhea Doran — teach across Kihei, Central Maui, Lahaina, Upcountry, and the North Shore. See the coaching team.
Insurance and waiver
Maui Tumblers is insured through Vantapro Specialty Insurance Company. The policy is excess (secondary) coverage for class activities. A signed liability waiver is required before the first class and is completed during online registration.
Behavior and readiness
We can discontinue a spot if a child is not ready for the class environment, if behavior repeatedly disrupts the room, or if safety rules are ignored. Prepaid tuition past the last participation date is refunded in that case. Details live on the FAQ.
